Holding Onto the Magic of Childhood
Published on Jan 7, 2023As children, we often live in a world of magic and wonder. We believe in the impossible and the improbable, and we see the world through rose-colored glasses. But as we grow older, we begin to see the harsh realities of life. We realize that not all love stories have happy endings and that monsters and villains exist in the real world.
It's natural to want to hold onto the innocence and optimism of childhood. We long for a world where people don't get hurt and where everyone has enough money and resources. We wish for a world where nobody gets sick and nobody has to go without a meal.
But as we grow older, we also come to understand that the world is a complex place and that not everything is black and white. We see that good guys don't always win and that sometimes life can be unfair.
Despite these harsh realities, it's important to remember that we can still hold onto the hope and wonder of childhood. We can strive to make the world a better place, and to be good to each other. We can hold onto the belief that the things we believed in as children can still exist in some form, whether it's the idea of Santa Claus or the belief in the power of good over evil.
